Benicia Temporarily Pauses Business License Tax ...

Starting April 1, 2025, Benicia businesses and contractors earning $10,000 or less per year will not have to pay City business license tax fees. The temporary suspension, approved by the City Council, will remain in effect through January 31, 2027.

Developers Sought for City-Owned Properties

Open competitive bidding is now underway for two City-owned sites. The City’s Housing Element calls for nine City-owned properties to be developed into affordable and mixed-income housing. This round of bidding covers the first two of those properties.
