Solano-Napa SBDC Celebrates National Small Business Week with Free Trainings and Networking Event

National Small Business Week is May 4-10, and the Solano-Napa Small Business Development Center is celebrating with four virtual trainings and an in-person networking event in Fairfield.  

All events are free and open to current and aspiring business owners, as well as community members interested in learning more about the SBDC and local business resources.

National Small Business Week recognizes the contributions of entrepreneurs and small business owners to the United States economy. The US Small Business Administration (SBA), Small Business Development Centers, and other business organizations around the country host events this week to empower business owners with the tools and resources they need to succeed. 

Solano-Napa SBDC’s National Small Business Week events include:

In-Person:

  • Business Connect, a networking event, May 7, 5:30 to 7 pm at The Daily Desk, 490 Chadbourne Rd, in Fairfield, will celebrate the resilience and success of the Solano and Napa business community.

Virtual Trainings via Zoom:

  • Get Your Local Business on Google Search and Maps, May 6, 12 pm to 1 pm - A Google Business profile power hour. This is one of the most important free tools on the internet for small business owners.

  • 50 + Ways AI Can Help Your Business Grow, May 7, 12 pm to 1 pm - This demonstration-filled workshop is designed for small business owners who want to understand what AI can do.

  • Creating Video for Social Media, May 8, 12 pm to 1 pm - Leverage the power of video! Learn tips and tools to create engaging video content.

  • Using Canva for Marketing, May 9, 12 pm to 1 pm - Discover how Canva can help you confidently design eye-catching content that elevates your brand.
